Thursday the time for real change

On Thursday this country has the chance for real change. An end to the old two party first past the post system and consequently a new form of consensual politics the two old party's would have us believe that a Liberal vote is a vote for the other old party. This is however no true a vote for the Lib Dem's is a vote for a more representative political system where every vote is equal and a political party cant be the largest party with the lowest share of the vote. Its is also a vote for an end to an unfair taxation system. One of the greatest failures of this Labour government is the widening of gap between rich and poor in the past 13 years. As far as the Conservatives are concerned they seem only to believe in Tax cuts for millionaires.

The liberal Democrats are the only party who are willing to discuss the useless Trident Nuclear weapons system that will cost 100 billion pounds over its life time. The Lib Dem's believe that trident should be part of a defence revue and other cheaper options should be persuded meaning that we could give our brave troops a six thousand pound pay rise. At the moment both the Torry's and labour have overseen a system where an army recruit who fights and puts his life on the line for his country earns less than a new police recruit.

Finlay now the media have reluctantly accepted that the old two party system is dead and there is only one party that can deliver genuine change. That party is the Liberal Democrats lets not waste this chance on Thursday.
